This was our 3rd year staying at First Flight Rentals. We feel everything is always nice and clean and very well maintained. We plan on returning next summer or sooner if possible.

My husband and I have been staying at First Flight Retreat in KDH for the past 4 years. There is a reason we keep coming back! The property is lovely, the view breathtaking, and the condos are clean and comfortable. This year we stayed in 317 (Horizon Hideaway). We loved it! The appliances were brand new and the bed was extremely comfy! We will be back in 2018 for sure!

Condo unit was beautiful and was a great size for the two of us. The pool was amazing but I wish it was located on the ocean side. The underground parking was nice but if you left in the evening, no spaces were available under cover. I'm not sure why there were reserved spots that were not being used during our stay but this would have opened up several more spaces. One disappoitment is that there are no "3" bedroom units which we need when my children come with us.

Is there an elevator in the building

Yes there is 2 elevators at the First Flight Retreat building.

How many chairs are on the deck?

There are 2 pub height polywood chairs and a pub table on the balcony. There is also one chaise lounger.

Are beach chairs & umbrellas included or available? Are linens & towels provided? Linens for the sleeper sofa?

First Flight Rentals will rent you chairs and umbrellas. Linens and towels are provided for you...your beds are made for you upon arrival. Linens for a sleep sofa are provided and located in a closet in the condo.

Is it oceanfront ?

FFR317 is located in an oceanfront building but is on the side of the building looking down the beach. It has a great view of the ocean.

Does the property have private access?

First Flight Retreat has a direct beach access from the building.

I want to make sure that you can see the ocean from the porch since it is a side unit. Is it a good view?

You can definitely see the oceanfrom the balcony and also from the condo. This condo has an excellent view. The photos were taken from the actual condo.

Is this balcony beach front or on the side of the building? Also, is there a roof over this balcony?

This condo is oceanside and not oceanfront but offers a picture perfect view of the ocean. The view you see in the photos are exactly what you see from the condo. Yes there is a roof over the balcony.

Are linens & towels included?

Yes - beds are made in all of our condos and there are 2 sets of towels per bedroom.

Is the bed a queen or king-sized bed?

The bed in this condo is a king

What's the distance to the nearest airport?

Norfolk International Airport in Norfolk, Va is approximately 1 1/2 hours from the Outer Banks.
