The Penthouse Suite @ John Yancey Inn is a great place to enjoy a sunrise or an afternoon drink is on the large oceanfront balcony. Penthouse Suite has 2 full bathrooms, queen sleep sofa, renovated full kitchen, dining area and living room. Plus a spacious balcony 200 square foot terrace that overlooks the Atlantic Ocean. Private king bedroom has 43" Smart TV. Enjoy a private balcony off of the bedroom that has excellent coastline views. Located across the street from the wildly popular Kill Devil Grill restaurant for best of beach lunch/dinners. Hotel amenities include: outdoor pool, playground, dune deck, BBQ grills plus 24/7 onsite guest services. Elevator access. Beds-made, washer/dryer. Keurig coffee maker. Free WiFi & SmartTVs.

The remodel was well done and was a pleasant surprise. The negative side to the remodel was the removal of the units water and dryer. This was a disappointment since we had to use the only two washers for the entire hotel The bathroom remodel was also a nice update but the remodel took away valuable counter space We definitely appreciated the upgraded A/C unit and ceiling fan in the bedroom

The king size bed was very comfortable. A wonderful view from the balcony. It is a quiet place to enjoy the sea. No loud neighbors or disturbances.
