RSR3C - Sunsets Galore

We loved this condo!

Second time at this condo and very pleased both times.

This condo is beautiful and accurate as to the photos. Everything was very clean and up to date and it’s conveniently located to both the beach and the sound. The beds and furniture were very comfortable.

This was our first sound side stay. We have stayed in OBX for 7 years and in Rodanthe for four, this condo was one of the best! The kitchen accessories were top notch. We cook daily on vacation. The pans and utensils were better than what I have at home. Most kitchens stock basic kitchenware that burns easy or is missing things. There wasn't anything that we looked for that we couldn't find. Out of any of our rentals, this was the best. The condo was clean, beds were nice, and the carpet is brand new. (It is so soft that I actually emailed the owner for the information to put it in my home.) The hot tub is right on the deck and has plenty of outdoor seating to sit and eat dinner on the balcony while watching the sun set over the sound. From this unit you can see the pool from the balcony. We were able to watch the kids swim in the pool and play in the sound from the balcony. The owner also supplies a gas grill with the unit which is nice to have. The resort only has 6 units in it. We vacationed in June of 2020, (dreaded 2020) we only ever encountered other people in the pool once all week because there isn't 20 units full of families. The walk to the pier was easy, the pier is a must for our family so we have to look for something close to it. This fit the bill and it came with free pier passes for the entire family (that is worth $200) Bonus, it is also walking distance of Lisa's Pizza :) We will definitely stay in this condo again and I will recommend to anyone who asks. The condo was almost perfect and I am picky. The owner is wonderful if you have any questions. And it's pet friendly, My 10 year old lab got to go on his first OBX vacation and even if I'm an ocean side girl at heart, his love of the sound will win every year going forward!

We were extremely pleased with the improvements that were done to Sunsets Galore since 2017. Everything has been carefully thought to make the stay enjoyable. The swing on the balcony was the cherry on the sunday! Kitchen was more than well equipped. We also appreciated the bar in the living room to store our bottles of wine and where we could find plenty of glasses. The only thing to be improved would be the hot tub that lost the control panel and the dishwasher which is very loud even if it is a Maytag “Silent Partner”. We will be back!

We loved the view and the condo was very comfortable.It was cleaner than most rentals we’ve stayed in.Overall it was a great stay. We didn’t want to leave. I would just say don’t forget to wipe door handles and places where hands go. Other than that it was clean. It also would have been great to have a real grill. Other than that it was great.

Sunsets Galore was perfect for my family's vacation needs. The location was ideal as well. I would recommend this condominium to everyone. I especially liked having a top floor, end unit.

This was our 3rd year staying at Rodanthe Sunset Resorts. Each year we stayed in a different condo. We liked this condo very much. It was decorated nicely & very comfortable. The tvs were very nice & it was nice to have a smart tv in the living room. The kitchen was well equipped. The views were excellent & my family enjoyed the hot tub very much. It was great to have a pool on the very hot days! Great place to stay!
